School Writing Memories
It was either my junior or senior year in high school when I was finally able to take a creative writing class. I was so tired of all the required grammar classes. This was a chance to express myself and it worked. Our teacher had us fill out answers in a book. It brought out ideas that we could then write about. I remember getting positive feedback from Mr. Z and thinking, hey I can do this. I also liked how I could express my feelings and get them out of my head and onto paper. It was a kind of stress reliever. I think teachers, friends, parents are powerful enough to encourage talent in someone to have them believe they can become a writer.
